Weird Stuff-Working UFO Detector!

Weird Stuff-Working UFO Detector!

Hi there Weird Stuff fans,

Here is definitely some Weird Stuff. This particular UFO DETECTOR was custom built by Weird Stuff as one of the awards at the BASEF. Believe or not it actually works. A similar model actually provided early warning of UFO sightings!

A UFO DETECTOR is basically a compass on a circuit with a battery and a buzzer. When the electromagnetic field from the UFO disrupts the compass, the circuit is completed and the buzzer goes off! UFOs have been known to stop car engines, clocks, watches, and create power outages. In the very near future Weird Stuff will have two models of UFO Detectors available to the public.

So if you are one of the ones who have been abducted, this UFO Detector is definitely something you need.

Colloidal Silver-Award Winner at BASEF for the Weird Stuff Award

Hi there Weird Stuff fans,

For the last 2 years Weird Stuff has been giving a Weird Stuff Award to that student that thinks outside the box. For that project that challenges conventional thinking.

This years award was a working UFO detector, that's right everyone! A Tesla library and a Tesla purple Energy plate.

It was a very exciting year at the BASEF, Bay Area Science Engineering Fair. There were so many incredible projects. This year the Special Award from Weird Stuff went to Inga Muser from Appelby College for her experiment on Colloidal Silver. Below is a brief summary of her purpose and findings.

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the experiment was to determine if colloidal silver had any affect on E-Coli growth.

Two experiments were conducted.

Weird Fur Bearing Trout.

Weird Fur Bearing Trout.

Hi there Weird Stuff fans,

This is definitely for someone who is looking for that weird and unusual gift for either the guy who loves to fish, or for someone who definitely wants weird stuff to hang on his wall.

This is definitely a conversation piece, and very rare.

This fur bearing trout was caught while trolling in lake Superior off Gross Cap, near Sault Ste Marie, District of Algoma.

It is believed that the great depth and the extreme penetrating coldness of the water in which these fish live
has caused them to grow their dense coat of (usually) white fur.

Welcome to Canada!

Weird,Injun-Uities Cereal Cards-1950's

Welcome to Weird Stuff,

I don't remember these Injun-Uities, however quite a few of our customers that ever ate Shreddies or Corn Flakes in the 1950's do. That's right, as a kid you would find these 4 inch by 7 and a half inch thick cardboard, illustrated cards in every box. One series was complete when you collected 28 cards.

Totally appreciating the Native American way these cards teach one the simple elements of their day to day life.

Kids would learn everything from simple things such as "Horse Recognition to " Horsemanship-Proper Posture".

My favourite of all is Straight Arrow - " Water Signals " Here one finds certain diagrams on a near by tree. Each diagram would warn others of Deep or Dangerous Water, Good Drinking Water, or River Crossing.

Original movie poster-1956-Nightmare

Original movie poster-1956-Nightmare

Hey Weird Stuff fans,

For all of you papaer collectors out there, and of course movie buffs, this is a weird, original 27 by 42 poster of a film called " Nightmare " staring the infamous Edward G. Robinson, dated 1956.

These original posters are getting harder to find, there is a little bit of wear on the corners but it still would add to any ones art walls.

Posters like this are becoming more and more collectible due to the internet and the loss of our paper world.

This is part of a collection from a female customer collector, who has had these since the 60's.

1947 Midget Movies-Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse,

1947 Midget Movies-Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse,

For all of you toy collectors out there this is an incredible find!!

Not only is this a midget movie made by capital projector company with the old Mickey Mouse Steamboat Willy, and of course we can't forget Donald Duck, and I couldn't believe that it actually WORKS!.

Yes indeed. It has the original 16 mm film which only costs 5 cents per view, where you can watch Mickey with a beard and a gun having a crazy shoot out.

Donald on the other hand is getting his diaper changed by a robot.

The midget movies were of three types back in the 1940's,either a boxing film a girly film ,or a Disney film.

Customers reminice about how they would sneak a nickle to watch the film, and hope no one was watching them. Well, we know what they were watching.(lol)

Boyd's Galvanic Battery

Boyd's Galvanic Battery

Wow, the infamous Boyd's Battery just came into the store.
This is a series of dissimilar metals such as nickel, silver, copper..
This battery was meant to be worn around the neck, creating a small electrical current from the dissimilar metals which also react with the salt of the body.
J.C.Boyd of New York patented his device in London Jan 17,1878. Dr. Boyd advertised claim was " The Blood is the Life "
Therefore it acted as a blood purifier.

This is a wonderful piece of History often found at coin shows but mostly overlooked, as people rarely know what these properties were meant to do. I have one myself and felt a noticeable charge while wearing it.
Thanks Dr. Boyd for a great contribution to History!

Buck Rogers-The Better Little Book-1938

Buck Rogers-The Better Little Book-1938

This is in great condition for a better little book called "25th century A.D and the Overtuned World". There are 424 pages in total, illustrated by LT.Dick Calkins.
This was written by Phil Nolan, based on the Famous Newspaper Strip.
Whitman Publishing Company-Racine Wisconsin.
This is quite unique as most of these books are called Little big Books. I flipped thru the book, and what an incredible story this is.
These books are getting more collectible as paper is becoming more obsolete with the use of computers.
A great better little book for your book collection.
